Breaking barriers in learning: the story of ramya madam

At PMSHRI GHPS Channamanahalli, Ramanagara (Karnataka), TGT Teacher Ramya Paul is redefining the way children learn. As part of the Bosch Bridge Foundation Program, she embraced innovative teaching methods rooted in 21st Century Skills, Project-Based Learning, and Experiential Activities to ensure her students not only memorise concepts but truly understand, apply, and live them.
Her classroom became a hub of creativity—science lessons turned into hands-on experiments, role plays, and field visits, making theory come alive. Over time, she saw her once reserved students begin to question, analyze, collaborate, and express themselves with confidence. The change was visible—students were not just gaining knowledge but also growing as problem solvers, communicators, and independent thinkers.
Parents and colleagues alike admired the transformation—children who once hesitated now eagerly participated, demonstrating enthusiasm and adaptability both in school and at home.
Ramya Madam’s words capture her philosophy best:
“When learning connects to life and builds skills, children don’t just study—they thrive and prepare for the future.”
Through her commitment, Ramya Madam has become a true role model, proving that meaningful and engaging education can unlock every child’s potential.
