Traditional preferences for male children persist, particularly in rural areas. Sons are often valued more than daughters in economic, political, and religious contexts, perpetuating inequality.

Child Marriage:

Early marriage remains prevalent, leading to early pregnancies and adverse impacts on women’s health, education, and economic opportunities.
