At just 17, Abhishek Vara from Sai Nagar, Nagole, Telangana, stands out as a young changemaker who has turned challenges into opportunities. Growing up in a modest household, Abhishek always carried a deep sense of responsibility towards society. He wanted to address issues like education and community welfare but lacked the guidance, platform, and resources to channel his passion into real impact.

This changed in June 2024, when Abhishek became part of Bal Raksha Bharat’s Dream Accelerator Project. Starting with Life Skills for Success (LS4S) training and later stepping into the Dream Accelerator team in Hyderabad, he quickly emerged as one of its most active and dedicated members. Over eight months, Abhishek not only built confidence but also sharpened his leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

One of his most impactful contributions has been through the Health and Hygiene micro-project. Leading awareness campaigns, workshops, and community sessions, he helped families adopt better hygiene practices and created a ripple effect of positive change. His peers and mentors now look to him as a young leader who is not only dreaming of a better tomorrow but actively building it.

Abhishek reflects on his journey; “Before joining Bal Raksha Bharat, I wanted to help but didn’t know how. Now, I’m part of something bigger. The training and opportunities have shown me that small steps can lead to big changes.”

Abhishek’s story is a powerful example of how structured mentorship and opportunities can unlock hidden potential. Through the Dream Accelerator, he is not just building his own future but also inspiring his community to envision a healthier, more empowered tomorrow.
