The first thought that entered Bilashree Swargayary’s mind when she woke up on Thursday morning was that she would have to reach the hospital as the baby was due any minute now. But it was easier said than done as her village, Uloni number 2, in Upper Assam’s Dhemaji district, was a good 15km away from the nearest hospital in Jonai. Bal Raksha Bharat’s employees helped Bilashree deliver her baby safely.
