Actor-producer Dia Mirza is on a mission to make the lives of marginalised children in the country better. As the ambassador of Bal Raksha Bharat, an NGO that works on issues related to education, health and protection of children, she was in Delhi recently, to spread awareness about the importance of hygiene and proper sanitation in slum areas; a cause that seamlessly blends with her role as an ambassador of Swachh Bharat.
Talking about the confluence of the causes, Mirza says, “It’s an integration of thoughts. I try and find a connection between the causes that I work for as this then cements the goals. There’s a high possibility of the causes then having a far-reaching impact.”
