Donate for School Supplies
Each school day gives children opportunities to learn, practise and discover. Notebooks, books, pencils and other learning materials can support children in completing classroom activities and applying what they learn.
When you donate for school supplies, you can contribute towards programmes that help make essential educational materials more accessible to children across India.
School Supplies for Everyday Learning
School supplies can support a range of classroom activities. Depending on programme needs, these may include:
- Notebooks and paper
- Books and reading materials
- Pens, pencils and other stationery
- Drawing and activity materials
- Classroom learning aids
- Age-appropriate educational materials
These resources can help children complete written work, practise new concepts, read, write and participate in classroom activities.
How Your Donation Can Help
You do not need to select or purchase individual school supplies when you donate. Contributions can support identified programme requirements, helping materials to be planned according to the needs of children and communities.
Your contribution may support:
Classroom Activities
Writing materials, notebooks and other resources used for everyday schoolwork and classroom exercises.
Reading and Writing
Books, paper and stationery that support reading and written activities.
Creative Learning
Drawing, project and activity materials that encourage children to express their ideas and take part in creative tasks.
Learning Support
Educational materials that can complement classroom lessons and activities.
Supporting Children’s Education
A child’s education involves many different aspects, including regular participation in school, effective teaching, family involvement and a suitable learning environment. Access to basic school supplies can complement these efforts by providing children with practical resources for their classroom work.
With suitable learning materials, children can:
- Practise new concepts
- Complete classroom assignments
- Read and explore new ideas
- Express themselves through writing and drawing
- Participate in group activities
- Build foundational learning skills
School supplies are one part of a wider approach to supporting children’s education and child welfare.
