Across India’s urban slums and migrant communities, thousands of children between 3–14 years old are denied their right to education. Many have never entered a classroom — trapped by poverty, migration, or discrimination.
Our Mobile Learning Centre (MLC) bridges this gap — taking learning directly to children through a bus transformed into a vibrant classroom on wheels.
The Problem
In India’s biggest cities — Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai — millions of children live in slums or informal settlements with little or no access to quality education.
Though the Right to Education Act, 2009 promises schooling for every child, barriers like poor infrastructure, social discrimination, and migration prevent thousands from learning.
These children risk becoming victims of child labour, early marriage, and generational poverty.
Our Solution: The Mobile Learning Centre (MLC)
A Mobile Learning Centre is a bus converted into a fully equipped classroom that brings early learning to children where schools or Anganwadi Centres are out of reach.
