Impact of Covid-19 on the Lives of Children

Bal Raksha Bharat’s report ‘A Generation at Stake: Protecting India’s Children from the Impact of COVID-19’ reveals that #COVID19, the biggest healthcare crisis of our lifetime, has affected children adversely. One out of 10 children said they would not be returning to school or do not know whether they will return to school once they (schools) reopen. Quite like any other natural disaster or crisis, children are the worst-affected and their protection, health and learning stand grossly compromised. This report assesses the impact of the pandemic on children and makes some truly pertinent recommendations to help deal with the situation.
