COVID19 has not just been a health emergency but also an education disaster. With migrant workers staying out of work due to the national wide lockdown and heading back to their hometowns, migrants children are at risk of dropping out of school. Talking about it Kamal Gaur,  Deputy Director – Education at Bal Raksha Bharat, said, “Studies suggest that on an average 20 per cent children dropout post emergencies, and the last 90 days lockdown has resulted in complete loss of education for these children who are moving with their migrant families”.
