Taking cues from the #MHDay2020 theme #ItsTimeForChange – our Bihar team, under the project ‘Marriage No Child’s Play’ initiated a unique awareness and advocacy drive on Menstrual Hygiene Day 2020. Naming the effort as ‘28 Messages by 28 Girl Champions’ – 28 girls from different parts of  the state, representing 28 days of a menstrual cycle volunteered to raise pertinent issues around women’s right to sexual and reproductive health. They came together to spread awareness on the importance of menstrual hygiene and changing mindsets around menstruation and thus call out for a society that is progressive and accepting of periods.
