About YIAL Project
Youth Innovation and Action Lab (YIAL) is a unique incubation and accelerator programme developed by Bal Raksha Bharat which brings together a cohort of youth and adolescents to identify problems faced by them and their communities to develop & pilot ingenious entrepreneurial solutions.
This transformative initiative is a catalyst to create LOCAL-entrepreneurs and aims to empower marginalised youth in India, to become agents of change in their communities through entrepreneurship and innovation. After a successful pilot in Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Delhi this process has enabled more than 150 youth across the 5 states to develop 15 entrepreneurial propositions.
Bihar Project
The state includes the following types of production: mushroom production, tailoring centers, broom making, food carts, and vegetable cultivation.
Delhi Project
This state includes organic cleaner production, which is ongoing, with sales has already started from mid-July.
Bangluru Project
This state features an upcycle and recycle unit, pet care, an old book center, a mobile garage, a digital literacy center, and a beauty and wellness center with homemade products.
